Wife, former Margaret Elliott of Thorndale, now of Austin; son, Frank M. Jackson, Jr. Of Austin; step-son,
Raymond E. White of Muncie, IN.; step-daughter, Iris White Baker of Portland, Tx.; 8 grandchildren;

About Margaret Elliott:
Margaret E. Jackson, 96, a resident of Austin, Texas, died Saturday, December 4 at Ball Memorial Hospital,
Muncie, Indiana, after a short illness.
A native of Thorndale, Texas, she was the daughter of
Willis B. and Iris Roberta Amason Elliott. She was a graduate of the Thorndale public schools and held
a bachelor?s degree from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. She did graduate work at the
University of Texas in Austin. Mrs. Jackson taught school in Luling, Beeville, and Goliad, Texas before
retiring in 1968. She lived in Austin, Texas for many years. She was a member of Phi Delta Kappa and
the Austin Reading Club, and a long-time member of the University Methodist Church in Austin. She became
ill in Muncie, Indiana while visiting her son Raymond E. White.
Survivors include a son Raymond
E. White (wife Kay), Muncie, Indiana; a daughter, Margaret Iris Baker (husband, Harvey), Portland, Texas;
a stepson, Frank M. Jackson, Jr. (wife, Mellisa), Austin, Texas; six grandchildren: Margaret Ann (husband,
David) Hall, Beeville, Texas, Wanda (husband, Howard) Box, Portland, Texas, Kenneth Baker, Smithville,
Texas, Polly White, Fishers, Indiana, Allen White (wife, Irene), Muncie, Indiana, and Wroe Jackson,
Austin, Texas. Margaret had nine great grandchildren and one great- great grandchild.
She was
preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Melvin White, her second husband Frank M. Jackson, Sr.,
and a son Robert Melvin White, Jr.
Graveside services will be held at Glendale Cemetery in Goliad,
Texas on Saturday, December 11, 2004 at 11:00 a.m.
