THORNDALE ? Services for Melissa Elizabeth Stolte, 49, of Thorndale are set for 2 p.m. Friday at the Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale. Burial will be in the Pleasant Retreat Cemetery near Thorndale. Mrs. Stolte died Wednesday at Scott & White Hospital in Temple.

She was born in Clarksville, Tenn. She graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1976 and was a member of Pride of The Southland Marching Band and the college tennis team. Mrs. Stolte was a physical education teacher and coach in Lockhart, Lexington and, for the past 13 years, Thrall. She also worked at Thorndale State Bank. She was a member of Pleasant Retreat United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Cam Stolte of Thorndale; three daughters, Jessica Marie Stolte, Shelby Lynn Stolte and Megan Renee Stolte, all of Thorndale; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Charles T. Harper Jr. and his wife, Irene, of Fort Worth and Stephen Dale Harper of Fort Worth; and her mother, Nettie Dee Harper of Thorndale.
