Ruth Jones Eiland
Services for Ruth Eiland will be held Wednesday, March 17 at 11 a.m. at Clanton
First United Methodist Church with burial at Martin Memorial Cemetery. Reverends Ed Britton and John
D. Trobaugh will be officiating. Visitation will be held today, Tuesday, March 16 from 5 p.m. to 8
p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Eiland, a homemaker, died at Clanton March 15.
Survivors
include her sons, William Eiland, Jr. of Fairhope, Ala., Daniel Eiland of Clanton and Paul Eiland of
Robertsdale, Ala.; her daughter, Sara Cleckler of Clanton; her sister, Betsy Smith of Tallahassee, Fla.;
8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was the daughter of Marion and Sara Jones
