About Edgar Milton Caffey:
Live Oak Cemetery is reached by going 5 miles west of Eden on Hwy #87, then 5 1/2 miles south on FM
road #176. Is on west side of road. Edgar's tombstone is abt 4 1/2 feet high, of gray granite. The
other tombstone is what looks like white marble. Reads either infant or Baby Caffey.Twins of Edgar and
Lena are buried here in the same casket. They died at birth. Both are surrounded with a wrought iron
fence with a padlocked gate. The name CAFFEY is inscribed on a metal bar on the gate.There is a small
live oak tree growing at the head of Edgar's grave.His inscription can not be read because of branches.
