George Bollinger of Houston officiated. He was born 6/18/1912 in Grayson Co. to M/M. Thomas Nelson
and Tinnie Greene DuBois. Married Edna Mae Eiland on 4/22/1933 in Milano. He was a retired Houston
Lighting & Power employee. Lived in Houston for 31 years and Milano for 9 years. Survivors: Wife,
Mrs. Edna Mae DuBois of Milano; 3 sons, Boyce L. DuBose of Melbourne Beach, Fl., Joes N. DuBois of
Houston and Thomas E. EuBois of Milano; 2 daughters, Joe Ann Newbury of Spring and Lorett Glenn of Houston;
3 brothers, Bob DuBois of Hot Springs, AR., David DuBois of Point Blank and Ed DuBois of Morgan; 3
sisters, Ora Newman of Dallas, Mattie WIlliams of Waco and Maude Bounds of Rockdale; 6 grandchildren.

Services for Edna Mae (Eiland) DuBois, 95, of Milano were to be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21,
2009, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Rev. Doug Springer of Rockdale Full Gospel
Church and Earl Pruitt officiating. Burial was to be in Sandy Creek Cemetery near Milano.
Mrs.
DuBois died Sunday, Oct. 18, at Richards Memorial Hospital in Rockdale.
She was born July 18,
1914, in the Gay Hill community to Joe and Willie Hazel Eiland.
She married Albert Joseph "Pat"
DuBois on April 22, 1933, in Milano.
Mrs. DuBois had been a Milano resident since 1974 and worked
for Standard Fruit Stand in Milano for many years.
She was a member of Milano Senior Citizens,
helping as organizer and attendee for many years. She also made pies and sandwiches for Saturday nights
and special functions.
Mrs. DuBois was preceded in death by her husband, Albert DuBois, on March
25, 1982; a son, Thomas Eugene DuBois, on Aug. 22, 1988; her parents; five brothers, Vernon, Emory,
Otis, Nolan and Floyd Eiland; five sisters, Anna Ione Pruitt, Avis Rae Yoakum, Laura Hill, Lucille Eiland
and Lorena Eiland; and a grandson, Philip Jean DuBois.
Survivors are two sons, Boyce L. DuBois
and wife Claudette of Rockdale, Joe N. DuBois of Milano; two daughters, JoAnn Newbury and husband Bill
of Milano, L oret ta Br umbelow of Houston; a brother, Curtis Eiland and wife Jean of Belton; six grandchildren,
Mark Newbury, Mike DuBois, James Brumbelow, Robert Brumbelow, Thomas J. DuBois and Suzanne Roempke;
and eight great-grandchildren, Justin DuBois, Travis DuBois, Anna Roempke Morgan, Sara Brumbelow, Rachel
Brumbelow, Hanna Brumbelow, Jacob Brumbelow and Jonathan Brumbelow.
Pallbearers were to be Mark
Newbury, Michael DuBois, James Brumbelow, Robert Brumbelow, Thomas J. DuBois, Mike Roempke, Justin DuBois,
Travis DuBois and Eldon Brumbelow.
