DOROTHY MADDOX EILAND

Peacefully entered eternal rest on Monday, July 2, 2012.

She was the beloved wife of the late Louis C. Eiland, Sr.; loving mother of Louis C. Eiland, Jr., Connie Eiland Cowley, Carole Eiland Sickels, Cheryl Eiland Logan (Joseph), Derrick K. Eiland, DDS and Cheri Renee Eiland Coles (Kevin); devoted grandmother to 11; great-grandmother to six; dear sister of Edna M. Moss; sister-in-law of Rose Eiland and Kaponia Eiland Coleman; adored by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and church family.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 6 at 9:30 a.m., and the Celebration of Life will begin at 11 a.m. at Vermont Avenue Baptist Church, 1630 Vermont Avenue, N.W., Washington, DC. Interment Rock Creek Cemetery. Arrangements by McGUIRE FUNERAL HOME.
