About Nadine Sherwood:

Graveside services for Nadine Morgan, 89, were held Monday morning in Restland Cemetery with Rev. John Beckling, pastor of First United Methodist Church officiating. She died Friday, August 20, 1993, in a local hospital. Born August 16, 1904, in Childress County, Mrs. Morgan had lived in Olney for over 60 years.

She and C.V. Morgan were married August 11,1924, in Crosbyton. He preceded her in death June 16,1983: Mrs. Morgan was a homemaker, a member of First United Methodist Church and its United Methodist Women. She was involved in many civic activities including the Junior Altruistic Club and was a charter member of Hamilton Hospital Auxiliary.

She is survived by two daughters, JoAnne Hunt of Olney and Nancy Eiland of Vernon; one brother, Fred Sherwood of Childress; four sisters, Janet Wright and Mary Heath, both of Childress, Bess Haltom of Crosbyton and Helen Crews of Las Vegas, N.M.; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
