Virginia Nell Watley of Selma, Alabama, passed away April 1, 2012 at the age of 84.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Watley; parents, Clint and Lois McGee; son, Larry Jones; siblings, LaRue Smith, Lucille Pinson, Lloyd McGee, Raymond C. McGee and grandson, David Godwin.

She is survived by her children, Belinda Nichols, Donna Massie, Sandra Bollinger and Sidney (Karen) Jones; grandchildren, Allen Childress, Kimberly Horton, Larry Mooney, Lori Lefebvre, Shelly Jones, Clint Jones and Christy Steward; great-grandchildren, Zachary Bollinger, Dustin Horton, Sloane Jones, Chase Mooney, Chance Mooney, Cameron Mooney and M.J. Stiller.

Visitation will be held Monday, April 2, 2012 at Selma Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Selma Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow in Mount Carmel Baptist Church #1 Cemetery in Isabella, Alabama.

Pallbearers will be Timmy McGee, Allen Childress, Rusty Mims, Clint Jones, Dustin Horton and John Brock. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Warren Manor Nursing Home, Dr. Park Chittom, Sr. and Dr. Park Chittom Jr., all with special thanks
