About Heath River Eiland:

Everlasting Memorial Obituary for Heath River Eiland
Heath River Eiland, sixteen-year-old sophomore at Anderson High School and beloved son of Stephen and Rebecca Eiland, went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, the 10th of May, 2011 at Round Rock Memorial Hospital.

He is survived by his two brothers, Forrest Wayne Eiland and Robin Michael Eiland, both of Austin, Texas; grandmother, Glorine Eiland; aunts, uncles and cousins of Austin; eleven more aunts and uncles, and many cousins all residing in San Antonio, Texas; and a multitude of friends. He is also survived by his endearing girlfriend, Aria Hollingsworth, daughter of Kevin Hollingsworth and Monica Roesch.

He was an active athlete in many sports during his short lived years. He played baseball with the Balcones Little League and soccer with the Lone Star Soccer Club. He currently was a member of the Anderson Trojan JV soccer team. Heath was also a member of the Anderson Trojan wrestling team. He enjoyed playing the guitar and skateboarding with his buddies: Tyler Merritt, Paul Kelly, Dylan Bunn, Stephen Banks, Christopher Ross, Noah Arthur, and Joshua Hoef, as well as many others who shared the love of this sport. He was an instant friend to all he met and he had a contagious smile.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family beginning at five o'clock in the afternoon on Sunday, the 15th of May at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 N. Lamar Blvd. The Recitation of the Rosary will follow at seven o'clock in the evening. Afterwards there will be a time of remembrance. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at one o'clock in the afternoon, Monday, the 16th of May at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 12041 Bittern Hollow. The interment will follow at Austin Memorial Park, 2800 Hancock. After the committal service, friends and family are invited to gather from three o'clock in the afternoon until five o'clock in the afternoon, in the MPC (Multi-Purpose Center) of Hillcrest Baptist, 3838 Steck Avenue.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made to the Heath Eiland Memorial Fund using account number 2528903943 at any Compass Bank locations. The precious God-given life of this wonderful child will continue; as the Gift of Life Donation was given to eight recipients. Because of the generous donation by Heath's loving parents, these eight recipients will be given a second chance of life.
