Burial in Garland Cemetery. Son of the late Charlie and Carrie Guthrie Fletcher was BORN 5/22/1894 near Salty. Married Miss Myrtle Caffey in 1915. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary shortly before his tragic accident in 1965. Mr. Fletcher and family moved from Salty Comm. in 1919 to Santa Anna, Tx and from there moved to Garland. SURVIVORS: Wife, Myrtle of Garland; 3 sons, Giles Fletcher of Hobbs, NM., Grady Fletcher of Bisbee, AZ. and Curtis Fletcher of Garland; 5 sisters, Mrs. Ruby Freeland, Mrs. Audie Bee Becket, Mrs. Billie Peters, Mrs. Marjorie Joe Nixon, all of Garland and Mrs. Imogene Thayer of Altura, Ca.; sister, Mrs. Sam Lowe of Brownwood; 18 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.
