Former Vernon resident Nina Mae Eiland, 92, died Friday, June 23, 2000, in Van, Tx after a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the First Baptist Church of Van with the Rev. Jim Shamburger
officiating. Interment will be at 5 p.m. Monday at Wilbarger Memorial Park in Vernon.
Eiland
was born Jan. 5, 1908, in Antelope. A resident of Van since 1981, when she moved from Vernon, she was
a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Margaret Kidd of Van;
two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Royce Edwin
Eiland, in 1982.
