He was born 8/9/1889 to M/M Will Eiland. Married Ivye Roberts in Rockdale in 1958. He was a retired coal miner, veteran of WW-1, serving in the U.S. Army from 7/22/1918 to 7/14/1919. Officating ministers were Revs. Doug Springer, Charlie Skeeters, Henry Spillers and Mrs. Eiland's brother, Rev. Armon Harris. She was born 9/11/1899 in Rockdale to Jim Andrew and Daisy Duncum Harris. Preceded in death by her husbands, Oscar Lee Caffey, Edmond Turner Roberts and Clyde C. Eiland and a son, Oscar Lyngle Caffey. Survisors: 2 sons, Curtis A.
