About G Howard Tucker:
CAMERON?Funeral services for G. H. ?Howard? Tucker, 89, of Cameron, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday,
Sept. 5, 2000 at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron with burial following in Oak Hill Cemetery
in Cameron.
Mr. Tucker died Saturday, Sept. 2 in a Cameron hospital. He was born May 15, 1911
in Milam County to Walter Lee and Maggie Ione Caffey Tucker. He was a retired farmer and rancher. Mr.
Tucker was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II and a lifetime member of the Cameron VFW. He was a member
of First United Methodist Church in Cameron.
Mr. Tucker was preceded in death by his wife of
over 50 years, Mary Tucker, in 1997; four brothers, Rufus ?Teenie? Tucker, Bowie Tucker, Murrell Tucker
and Dooley Tucker; and one sister, Verlie Ashley. Survivors include two sons, Timmy Tucker and wife
Carol and Donnie Tucker and wife Veronica, All of Cameron; three brothers, Ray Tucker and James ?Red?
Tucker, both of Cameron, and Johnnie Tucker of Enid, Oklahoma; two sisters, Sudie Cass of Cameron and
Mary Ruth Vybiral of Caldwell; and five grandchildren.
