About Allene Minnie Holder:

ALLENE RUDEL ULRICH, 90, passed away on December 30, 2004. She was born on September 9, 1914 in Rockdale, Tx to Benjamin and Ottie Lee Holder.

She was baptized December 26, 1914 in Cameron, Tx and confirmed June 17, 1934 in Houston, Tx. Allene will be greatly missed for she was a kind, loving, generous mother, "Nanny", and friend. She is now doing what she liked to do best and that is to happily visit and laugh with loved ones and friends. Allene was the wife of the belated Simon Rudel for nearly 45 years and the belated Herman Ulrich.

Mrs. Ulrich was preceded in death by her son, Benjamin Rudel. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Rudel Ayres and husband, Donald, of Conroe, Tx; granddaughters, Shawn Rudel of Tomball, Tx, Melissa Ayres Hallaron and Gretchen Ayres Willey of Conroe, Tx, Sonya Ayres Fields of Las Vegas, Nv; grandson, Lance Rudel of Tomball, Tx; and great-grandchildren Sarah and Sean Hallaron of Conroe, Tx.

Allene was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Tomball and a long-time member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in the Houston Heights. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 3, 2005 from 5-8 p.m., and the funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 4, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Earthman Resthaven, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Tx. Interment will be in Resthaven Cemetery.
