LEHMAN, Sr., Alonzo Alric "Al" of Thorndale. Age 56. Died 2/4/1989 (Sat.). Services held 2/8 (Wed.) from Wilke-Amey-Clay Funeral Home in Austin. Burial in Forest Oaks Memorial Park in Austin. Rev. Wallace Faris officiated. He was BORN 5/23/1932 to Ernest and Jessie Lehman in their home in Thorndale. Attended St.Paul Lutheran School in Thorndale. Served in U.S. Navy from 1950 until 1960 and again from 1964 to 1965. Police officer in Taylor from 1960 to 1962. Avid hunter and fisherman with many game trophies to show for it. Packed up boat and tackle box and ventured to Rockport was a frequent trip. SURVIVORS: Wife of 25 years, Lillian Lehman of Austin, 2 sons, Alonzo Lehman, Jr. of Thorndale and Timothy Ray Lehman of Austin; 3 daughters, Cynthia Ann Landrum, Lillian Marie Lehman and Malena Lynn Lehman all of Austin; 3 sisters, Viola Townsend and Leola Starr, both of Rockdale and Lenora Skipworth of Austin; brother, Uriel Lehman of Wichita Falls; 3 granddaughters, Shanna Adriana Lehman, Sarah Lorraine Landrum, Magan Judith Lehman; several nieces and nephews. picture
