ROCKDALE ? Services for Justin J. ?Papa J? Niemtschk,
84, of Thorndale are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale. The Rev.
Vickie Averitt of Pleasant Retreat United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant
Retreat Cemetery near Thorndale. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Niemtschk died Saturday at his home.
He was born in Haskell and lived in Thorndale for most
of his life. He was a farmer and rancher and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member
of Pleasant Retreat United Methodist Church in the Pleasant Retreat community near Thorndale.
Survivors
include his wife, Clara Niemtschk of Thorndale; a son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Vickie Niemtschk
of Thorndale; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Donna Harris of Thorndale, Twana and Wayne Benner
of Bluffton and Regina and Charles ?Smokey? Rogers of Taylor; two brothers, Eugene Niemtschk of Thorndale
and Eldon Niemtschk of Rices Crossing; three sisters, Elyne Lehman, Irene Schroeder and Doris Keisling,
all of Thorndale; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
