About Paul Tucker:

Paul Tucker, 82, of Thorndale died Aug. 20 at Johns Community Hospital in Taylor. Celebration of Life Services were held Thursday, Aug. 23 at Providence Funeral Home with Rev. Travis Summerland officiating. Burial will followed at Thorndale City Cemetery.

Paul Tucker was born on July 1, 1925 in Milam County to Charlie L. and Eula (Caffey) Tucker . He served his country during WWII in the United States Army, Company F 22nd Infantry. Paul married Lanette Phillips and this marriage was blessed with four wonderful children. He was a member of the Tenth Street United Methodist Church and worked at Alcoa for 37 years before retiring. Paul proudly served on the Thorndale City Council for 4 years, was a trustee at Tenth Street United Methodist Church and he coached Little League for more than 40 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, 2 sisters, and a granddaughter.

Survivors include his wife, Lanette Phillips Tucker; 3 sons, Gaylan Tucker; John Tucker and his wife, Tricia; Len Tucker and wife, Fran; a daughter, Andra Lehmann and her husband, Larry; a sister, Emma Lillian Strong; nine grandchildren; eight great Grandchildren; 2 sisters-in-law, Daisy Tucker and Dorothy Tucker; and numerous other relatives and friends. Paul will be greatly missed by his many loving family members and friends. Memorials may sent to Tenth Street United Methodist Church at P.O. Box 851, Taylor, Tx.
