JONES, Eulice L. of Houston. Age 65. Died 4/10/1988 (Sunday) in a Houston hopsital after a long illness.
Services held (Tuesday) in Phillips & Luckey Chapel in Rockdale. Burial in Salty Cemetery south of Thorndale.
He was BORN 1922-23 in Zenora, LA., was a Baptist. Auto Mechanic by trade. Veteran of WW-2, member of
Rockdale VFW No. 6525, and member of Trinity American Legion. The family lived on the Rolan place near
Thorndale for several years around 1974-75. He was a cousin of Audrey Brune of Thorndale. SURVIVORS:
Wife, Myrtle Rolan Jones of Houston; 4 daughters, Kerron Dugan, Connie Thompson, Faye Boyce, all of
Houston, and Kay Nasworthy of Georgia; 2 step-daughters, Joyce Wyatt of Cypress and Janice Negrete of
Houston; 4 brothers, Tom Jones, James D. Jones, George E. Jones, all of Trinity and Carroll Jones of
Louisiana; 2 sisters, Betty Phillips and Jean Lemley, both of Houston; 1 grandson; 4 step-grandchildren.
