CONOLEY, Lyle of Conoley Comm. (Thorndale). Age 78. Died 10/6/1989 (Friday) at his home. Services held (Sunday) from Condra Memorial Chapel. Burial in Pleasant Retreat Cemetery. Rev. Bill Fulton officiated. He was BORN at Conoley on 4/23/1911 to the late John Knox and Jo Hattie (Gregory) Conoley, members of the pioneer family that settled the community. Preceded in death by a grandson, David. SURVIVORS: Wife, Shirley Arledge Conoley; daughter & husband, Carol & Dan Lewis of College Station; 2 sisters, Frances Clyde Faustina, Marie Hanke of Tyler; 2 brothers, Blake Conoley of Azle, Harold Conoley of Hurst; 3 grandsons, Donald, John and Mike Lewis.
