 Mrs. Dolly M. Johnson
 Mrs. Dolly M. Johnson, 81, of 3998 E. Sugar Grove Road, Custer,
died at 1 a.m. today at Memorial Medical Center where she had been
a patient two weeks. Dolly Marie Quinn was born July 6, 1905 in
Scottville where she grew up and went to school. She was married in
1924 in Detroit to Emery L. Johnson and he preceded her in death.
She was remarried on July 18, 1950 in Charleston, W. Va. to Thomas
E. Johnson and he preceded her in death Oct. 6, 1973. She was an
interior decorator for 18 yrs in Dearborn and had owned the business,
Interiors by Dolly. She moved to Sherman Township in 1966.
Surviving are two stepdaughters, Mrs. Jack (Judy) Bell and Mrs.
Richard (Joyce) Varlese, both of Detroit; two sisters, Mrs. Anthony
(Leota) Piazza of Custer and Mrs. Robert (Marjorie) Bottrell of
Manistee; four brothers, Dr. Ernest Quinn, DDS of Bartonville, Ill.,
Donald L. and John J. Quinn, both of Ludington, and Mickey H.
Quinn of Hart; several stepgrandchildren, and
numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may begin calling at the Dorrell Funeral
Home after 2 p.m. Tuesday. The family will be present at the funeral
home to receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. The
funeral for Mrs. Johnson is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday; the
time and place will be announced later by the Dorrell Funeral Home.

Funeral services at residence, 5019 Maple, Dearborn. Friday at 2
p.m. Interment Woodmere.
