John Morgan moved to New Preston, Connectitcut in 1692 where he died in 1712. He was a prominent man and served as Indian commissioner oradviser. He was deputy to the general court from New London in 1689-90, and from Preston, CT, in 1693-94. He removed to Preston about 1692. The probate of the will was appealed from, as he made no mention of his son Joseph, who appeared as a party in the proceedings.
