George was a prominent early settler of Plymouth, MA. Tradition that his
father was a Robert and mother Elizabeth, who came with him and two other
sons, Robertand Thomas about 1632. He was a resident of Plymouth in
1633, and a freemanin 1637. ln 1635 he purchased a home of Dea. Richard
Masterson. George held various offices of trust and became qyite
independant, owening large tracts ofland.
