At http://www.statelib.lib.in.us/tango/marriage  Indiana State Library Genealogy Division, Indiana Marriage Through 1850, we find the following entry: John Monday and Rachel Ellis married 26 January 1819 in Franklin County, Indiana.

Rachel possibly died before John, as no mention of her is made in his probate records.

John's estate was probated from Marion County, Indiana. The following is taken from the book, Marion County, Indiana Complete Probate Records January 1830 - August 1852, Abstracted by Jane Eaglesfield Darlington.
