Note On her husband's death, Elizabeth applied for letters of administration for his estate. A bond signed by her, her son William and nephew Thomas required her to produce an inventory of his goods by 7 Jul 1799. The bond was dated 7 Jul 1798. See William(N544) for the inventory dated 10 Nov 1796. 
Note Elizabeth's will was dated 23 Mar 1816 and proved on 26 Jan 1820. Her effects 'did not amount in value at the time of her decease to the sum of' £450. She beqeathed: 'my household furniture, books and linen ... unto my daughters Mary Elliff and Ann Elliff ...'; 'unto my son William Elliff, the clock which I sometime since lent to him, in addition to the sums of money I have heretofore advanced for his benefit ...'; '... and unto my son Thomas Elliff, my desk.' The residue of her estate was to be divided between her five children 'Ann Elliff, Elizabeth, wife of Benjamin Brackenbury, Mary Elliff, John Elliff and Thomas Elliff'. 
Note An entry in the Lincoln, Rutland and Stamford Mercury for Friday 31 Dec 1819 (P.C. Elliff) stated that she died on 25 Dec 1819 aged 75.
