Vienna

Dear Sister Hermine:

I'm writing to tell you that we received your 2 cards which made us happy and for which we thank you.

Here everybody is in good health. I'm without work since I returned from my travels. I was now one year in Germany in Breslau, Berlin, Hamburg, Leipzig, Nurnberg, Stuttgart, Mannheim, Frankfurt/main, Dresden, Prag and Brun.

I wrote you form Breslau but did not receive an answer. Did you not receive anything? This year our parents are celebrating their silver anniversary, but the exact date I cannot give you. How is everything in America? Hopefully well. Are you all healthy, how are the three little ones doing? I wish to you from the bottom of my heart all the good things in the new year. I do not know if you are still in Ohio. Please send a picture card.

With greetings to you, Ferdinan and my nine grandchildren from your brother Leopard Waniek in the name of the parents.
