Mr. Ferdinand Kaiser

Dear Sister:
During my last stay in Vienna I read your letter, dated 11/30/1921 and brought it home with me. And since you asked in your letter, how Leopold is doing, and since I was elected to write back to you, I will gladly comply with your request. At first I realized that you are have a very large family and all your nieces and grandchildren are going to school or are otherwise already gainfully employed. When we received your letter of November 30, 1921 Mother was not living anymore. She died on April 23, 1919, when she was 63 years old, from a massive stroke. Father still works in the factory as usual, and is still at Hacker, Wieden, Phorusplatz, where he still is working as a metal grinder/polisher (Translator's interpretation). Olga, as far as I know, has a position with a lawyer. You probably don't remember me anymore, but if you do, I don't know if it is pleasant.
After my apprenticeship I left home and went to Germany and now am now living in Czechoslovakia. I am married and have a daughter who is already 11 years old. I am working in a office with an attorney. Should you answer me, I will send you a picture of me and will write more detail. Please say hello to my brother-in-law Ferdinand. Hopefully, You are all well and healthy. Looking forward for an answer, I remain forever your Poldi.
