Welcome to the genealogy pages of the Zimmerman family.  By keeping graphics to a minimum, these pages download  fast. There a lot of information presented here.  Please us it freely, but for non commercial purposes..  Its will always be a work in progress.  Several of the families (Armistead, Chadwell, Green, and White) have extensive histories.  If you have information that links into them I will be glad to add it to what is here. Be patient this is a hobby, it sometimes takes a while for me to respond(months-years!) but I am persistent.

 We are moving all the genealogy files to the WikiTree, that will take some time and adding any new info up there rather than redoing this site. We well keep this site active for posting photos and source material.(2016) Grand-kids take more time than I thought!

  Shortly after I wrote the below statement, I got a job promotion and never had the time to get back to them. I've since retired and looking to spending some time cleaning things up.  I have a great deal of new info to post, Just have to relearn how to do it.  (updated Mar 26, 2014)

2005 was a very rough year for our family. My father of 91 passed on Feb 5th, and a very good friend of ours and the god-parents to our children when I was in the military, passed, and Linn's father lost his battle with lung cancer in July.  Were looking to 2006 to be a better year for us all.  Will be getting back to updating these pages soon.
