Note: Mrs. John Robinson, Sr. was born Esther R. Thornton, daughter of Richard and Esther (Harrison) Thornton on 14 July 1826 in Upper Canada. She married John Robinson about 1845 and had the following children: Mary Elizabeth (married John Lee), Emily (married Arthur Wilson), Ellen (married Josiah Wigle), James (unmarried), Charlotte (?), and John Kimpton (married Ann Dring). Esther Thornton Robinson died on 14 July 1826. |
