Mary Jane Goff (175) and Jesse Plyman Bennett (363)

 
 Mary Jane Goff (175), daughter of John Eustace Goff (55) and Sarah Jane Wright (73) was born in 1829 and schooled in Sewickly, Allegheny County, PA. One of her teachers was Norval White, brother of Judge J.W.F. White. She went to the Edgeworth Seminary. Her father was a brother to Philo Goff (58), also of Sewickly. She married Jesse Plyman Bennett (363) on Dec 30, 1858, at her parent's home, Thorn St. between Broad and Walnut. Mary Bennett died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. M.R. Gwynn, Sheridan, PA, in May, 1911. Mrs. W.H. Marlatt of Sewickly was a sister to Mary Bennett. Fielding B. Goff (178) of Sewickly was a brother.

Mary and Jesse are buried in Sewickly Cemetery.
