Mussgnug was the original family name; shortened to Moos
(Tombstone inscription in Moose Ridge Cemetery, near Woodsfield, Ohio) and later to Moose.

My grandfather, Isaac Thomas Baker b. 1875, Monroe County, Ohio, was their son.
He married Nettie Irene Carpenter.
They are buried in Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown, Wood County, WV.
