Granny's Photo Tin
When I was a child I loved to look through Granny's old round tin box that was full of photos of people from the past. I asked her who they were and sometimes I would write down with pencil the names of the people in the photo. The old tin and the photos were passed down to me when she died. They became my connection with the past and valuable clues to my genealogy research.
Florida is not the best climate to preserve old photos. They were at the mercy of the heat and humidity in the old tin box . Here are some of my favorites.
