SCHOOLS
The West Monmouthshire school, erected in 1895, at a cost of about �28,000, is a large gabled structure of red brick, relieved with Bath stone, the principal front being flanked by octagonal stair turrets with tall spires, and over the porch are the carved arms of the Haberdasbers' Company of London, with their motto ' Serve & Obey'.
