In the matter of the Pension Claim of GEO W CULP
Personally came before me,
a Justice of the peace in
and for
aforesaid County and State,
Daniel McKeehan, age 68 years old
Harrison Township, Lee County, Iowa, Post Office, Primrose, Iowa
persons of lawful age, who being duly sworn, declare
in relation to the aforesaid case as follows:
I have known
George W Culp since 1855 or 1856. I never
knew him to be sick or that his eyes were sore so
that he had
to wear glasses on account of any injury to his eyes
Affiant
further says that after said Geo W Culp
returned from the war at the close, he knew him
to wear glasses, and up to the year 1867 or 1868 he
moved from Lee County and had not seen him again
from the time he left until December 1881 and seen
him still wearing glasses
I further declare that I have no interest
in said case, and am not
concerned in its prosecution.

I hereby certify that the contents of the foregoing affidavit
were fully made known and explained to the
