I have known Geo W Culp since 1868 up to
the present time. When I first knew him
he was wearing the strongets spectales that
he could get. He told me that he lost his
eyesight while in prison in Cahaba, Alabama.
He is still wearing the same kind of glasses
and I am satisfied that he is very nearly
blind in one eye and the sight is
of the
the other is affected to a certain
extent.
I also know him to be a moral truthful
and upright man and that his veracity
can be relied upon.
And I further declare that
I have no interest in said case, and that I am not
concerned in its prosecution.
