Mrs. Mary E. Hunter, widow of the late James L. Hunter, died Sunday evening at 6:30 o'clock at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Mathilda Gibson, 56 Carson avenue, at the advanced age of 82 years. Death followed an extended illness due to complications. The deceased was born in Germany but came to Fort Wayne with her parents when she was 16 years of age. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran church and active in the affairs of the congregation. Two sons and three daughters survive her: John L Hunter and George F. Hunter, of this city; Mrs. Mary Jane Emrick, Mrs. Mathilda Gibson and Mrs. Elizabeth Brewind, of St. Louis, and two brothers and two sisters, George Koelinger, of Marion township, Frederick, of this city, Mrs. Katherine Zollinger, of Adams township and Mrs. Elizabeth Brudi, of New Haven.
