George "Tom" C. Longley, 70, Cassville, passed away Monday, Nov. 13, 2006, at Freeman Hospital in Joplin. He was born April 16, 1936, in Cassville the son of Hershal and Coila Porter Longley. He married Sharon Witt Longley on Feb. 2, 1982, in Exeter and she survives. Additional survivors include: two daughters, Georgia Wenell, of Butterfield, and Shirley Longley, of Pine Bluff, Ark.; one stepson, Greg Passley, of Corning, Iowa; one stepdaughter, Paula Pinkley, of Joplin; 15 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Connie and Clara Longley and one stepson, Rodney Passley. He was a painter. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Corinth Cemetery, Cassville. Arrangements are under direction of the Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett.
