DAWSON, Robert Leroy, age 88, joined his beloved wife of 63 years,
Fern on June 30, 2006. Service to be held at Catalina Methodist
Church on Thursday, July 6, at 10:30 a.m. Born February 19, 1918,
he served in the Army Air Corps during WWII. He taught school from
1940 -1981. During retirement he continued his commitment to
community service to become the longest serving volunteer at the
Food Bank. He was a member of Catalina Methodist Church, the
Homebuilder's class, and Pima County Retired Teacher's Association.
He is survived by daughters, Alice and Ann; grandchildren, Spring,
Kelly, Kendy and Tommy and great-grandchildren, Elaina, Connor,
Dawson, Kaitlynn and Ryker. He made a big impact on many lives and
will be missed. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the
Community Food Bank or to Handmaker Foundation. Arrangements by

Roseville Man Dies After Brief Illness
James Savage, 67, of Roseville, died at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning at
the home of his daughter, Mrs. Deweese Harmor, 2437 Maple avenue
following a short illness of hear disease. Surviving are the widow,
Frances Creek Savage; two sons, Edward and Dwight, all of the home,
two daughters, Mrs. Walter Ogg, New Lexington, and Mrs. Dewees Harmor,
at whose home he died; one sister, Mrs. Myrtle Burley, Crooksville;
one brother, William Savage, this city, and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at
Cannon and Cannon funeral home, Roseville. Rev. E. R. Anthony will
officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill cemetery.

Mrs. Eleanor Crumbaker, 56, of 924 Price street, died at 8:30 a.m.
Tuesday (Oct 21) at Good Samaritan Hospital where she had been a
patient for six weeks. She had been in failing health for several
weeks. Mrs. Crumbaker was born Nov. 5, 1912 in McConnelsville, a
daughter of Wilbur R. and Etta Wilson Jones. She had spent most of
her life in the Zanesville area and for many years was a waitress at
Nicol's Restaurant on Putnam avenue. She was a member of the United
Methodist Church. Surviving are her mother of 922 Price street, a
son Robert Frame of 728 Putnam avenue; a sister, Mrs. Kathryn Bright
of 922 Price street; a brother, Ray Jones, of the home, four
grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. A sister and brother
are deceased. The body was taken to the Putnam Chapel of Bolin
Funeral Home where friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4
and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.

Annette Kern Tyler, 78 Devoted wife, mother, nana, loved deeply by
her family, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2007. She was born in
Prescott on July 24,1928. She met Jim Tyler in Tombstone and married
in 1946. They moved to Phoenix in 1950 and lived there for 47 years.
They retired to Camp Verde in 1997. She has two daughters Laurel
Rountree (Ed) and Corky Flick (Bill), four grandchildren, one
great-grandchild, and sister, Marie Jesberger. She was preceded in
death by her twin brother, Michael Kern and her sister, Kathy
Malone. She and Jim traveled extensively over North America from
Alaska to Mexico. She worked as a bookkeeper during her years in
Phoenix. She and Jim spent their summers at their beautiful cabin
in Lakeside. She always put her family first, was a devoted Catholic
who served faithfully in her church, and loved her gardening. She
will forever be remembered among her beautiful flowers. Now she lies
at peace in her heavenly garden. Mom, your smile is prettier than
your loveliest rose. A memorial mass will take place 10:30AM Monday,
May 14, 2007 , a recital of the rosary will be prior to the service
at 9:30AM at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 781 S. Cliffs
Parkway in Camp Verde. Bueler Camp Verde Funeral Home assisted the
family.
