Mrs Carl Harmon Funeral Friday
Mrs Bertha Harmon, 65, died at her home, 6 young street, Tuesday
afternoon at 3:25 o'clock, after a long illness. Surviving are her
husband, Carl; two daughters, Mrs Hubert Rambo of 1242 West Main
street and Mrs Florence Rambo of 1244 West Main street; a son, Don
Freeman of Phoenix Arizona; a brother, James Savage of Adamsville
road; a sister, Mrs Omen of 939 West Main street; seven
grandchildren; and a great=grandchild. Born May 29, 1883 in
McConnelsville, Mrs Harmon was the daughter of Benjamin and Elizabeth
Savage. She has lived here for 35 years, and was a member of
Jehovah's Witnesses. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon
at 2 o'clock at the Hills funeral home. C P Stottler will officiate,
and burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery. The body is at the funeral
home.

MOUNT VICTORY - Dano H. Creviston, 52, of Ridgeway RR 1 died Monday
at home. He had been in failing heath two years. During a greater
part of his lifetime he had farmed in Logan County. Born Aug. 3,
1913 in Union County, he was a son of Pearl C and Massie Belle Smith
Creviston. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Methel Fish Creviston; a
son, Donald at home; three sisters, Mrs. Howars Oglesbee and Mrs.
Edward beale of Bellefontaine and Mrs. Bernard Morris of West
Mansfield, and two brothers. Barney of Big Springs and Pearl of
Bellefontaine. Another brother Albert, is deceased. Funeral
services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Mackey
Funeral Home here. Reve. Lloyd Harris will officiate. Burial
will be in Fairview Cemetery at Belle Center. Friends may call at
the funeral home after 7 tonight.

Mrs. Lois Senter Akers, of Roanoke, died Thursday at her residence. She
was the widow of Lloyd D. Akers, and was a member of Christ Lutheran
Church. She was on the Board of Directors of Greenvale Nursery School;
a volunteer for the Roanoke City Public Library and the Roanoke
Historical Society. She was a former teacher with the Roanoke City
Public School System. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Kay
and Jim Thomassen, Austin, Texas.

Winterset Madisonian, Winterset, Madison Co., Iowa, December 12, 1933
Willard Loehr, was the fourth child of Noble W. and Hope Anna Loehr,
and was born July 5th, 1870 in Lincoln township. He passed away at
his home in Monroe township Sunday evening at the age of 63 years, 4
months and 21 days. On Christmas Eve, 1901 he was married to Miss
Etta Reed who with his two brothers, three sisters and their families
and a host of friends are left to mourn his departure. The brothers
are Willis of Hillsdale, Wyoming and Dan of Lorimor. The sisters are
Mrs. Mary Abbott of Coeur De'Alene, Idaho, Mrs. Effie Reinmuth of
Sacramento, California and Mrs. Lulu Richmond of Laciede, Missouri.
One sister, Nora Burns preceded him in death. The deceased was born
and lived his entire life in Madison county. In March 1905 Mr. and
Mrs. Loehr moved to the farm that has since been their home. Mr.
Loehr became a member of the Methodist church a number of years ago
and since that time has lived in that faith. His happy and unselfish
disposition endeared him to the people among whom he lived. Early
last spring he was stricken with a serious illness and an operation
followed early in July. Since that time he has been confined to his
home. Funeral services were held at the Macksburg Methodist church
at 2 o'clock and were conducted by the Rev. E. H. Sands. (Burial at
Moon Cemetery, Macksburg, Iowa)
