Henry J. Hugelmeyer, 74, resident of 404-1/2 W Main St., died at 11:45 a.m. Sunday in Newark Hospital, where he was admitted Saturday. He had been in failing health a year and seriously ill seven weeks. A resident of Newark 50 years, he retired 10 years ago, after employment of 28 years with the Newark Ohio Co., as a brassmolder. He was a native of Hanover Germany, the son of Wilhelm and Gertrude Hugelmeyer, and came to this country when he was 16 years of age. He was the last of his family and is survived by his widow, the former Betty O. Beckett. He was a member of the Ironmolders Union, AF of L. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel in Criss Brothers Funeral Home, with the Rev. E. T. Acord conducting the service. Burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Monday.
