BEATTY FUNERAL
Funeral services for Alonzo Beatty, 68, who dropped dead Saturday morning at his home near Ellis Station, were conducted at the Beatty church at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon and burial was made in the church cemetery.

Alonzo Beatty, aged 68, died suddenly at 10:30 o'clock Saturday morning at the family home at Ellis Station, after a heart attack. He was stricken while going for the mail and died within a few minutes. He was a lifelong resident of Muskingum county, and is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Hazel Garrett and Mrs. Ollie Stotts and Mrs. May Hittle, of Dresden. The body was removed to the Hearing undertaking parlors to remain until 1 o'clock when it will be removed to Beatty church near Ellis for funeral services at 3 o'clock this afternoon. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
