Services for Mrs. Dora Twyman, 80, of South Zanesville Route 1, will be held at 1 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Putnma chapel of Mader-Peoples funeral home. Rev. Frederick Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn. Mrs. Twyman died at 7:30 o'clock Sunday morning at the home of a son, Chester Twyman of South Zanesville Route 2, after a lingering illness. She was a native of Blue Rock and was the daughter of Francis and Caroline Young. Mrs. Twyman, widow of Samuel Tywman, was a member of the First Methodist church. Surviving are the son, Chester, with whom she had made her home for two and a half years; a grandson, Donald Twyman, a great-granddaughter, Peggy Twyman, all of the home; and two half-sisters, Mrs. Nellie Derwacter of Blue Rock and Mrs. Mary Monroe of Columbus. The body will remain at the funeral home.

Virgil J. Fleming, 60, of Roseville Route 2, died at 9:20 p.m. Monday at his residence on Payne Ridge road after an extended illness. He was born in Zanesville Sep. 21, 1915. He worked as a machine operator for the Bloomer Candy Company in Zanesville. He was a World War II Veteran. Surviving are his wife, Genevieve Savage Fleming; one daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Roxanna) Ridenaur of Denver, Colo.; two sons, Larry and Melvin, both of Denver, Colo.; three sisters, Mrs. Clarence (Peggy) Howell of Nasport Route 1, Mrs. Homer (Marie) Rarick of Crooksville, Mrs. Walter (Louise) Adkins of Roseville Route 2; 13 grandchildren; and one great granddaughter. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Gobel Funeral Home in Crooksville with burial in Iliff Methodist Cemetery. Friends may call anytime after 2 p.m. today. The family will be present from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
