Rolland Lear, 76, of Main street, Crooksville, a former employe of
the Cesco Plant of Ferro Corporation in Crooksville, died at 3:30
a.m. Wednesday in Good Samaritan Medical Center where he had been a
patient the past week. Born in McLuney Feb 4, 1896, he was a son of
Frank and Maggie Brown Lear. Mr. Lear retired in 1960. He was an
Army veteran of World War I. Surviving are a number of cousins,
including Mrs. Jessie Basford of Crooksville, His first wife, Grace,
died in 1958. He later married Nellie Appleman who died in 1969.
Friends may call after noon today at Crooksville Chapel of Cannon and
Cannon Funeral Home were services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday with
Rev. Arthur Long in charge. Burial will be in Crooksville Cemetery.

Albert F Finkel, 82, of Bradington, Fla., a former resident of Rokeby
Locks and Beverly, died at 9:50 p.m. Sunday (March 12) at Sarasota,
Fla. Memorial Hospital after an illness. He was born at Lowell,
Feb 1, 1885, son of the late Charles and Elizabeth Remmy Finkel. Mr.
Finkel was a retired carpenter and farmer. Surviving are his widow,
the former Mary Bertha Bell, whom he married June 26, 1909; five
sons, Charles E of Duncan Falls, Elmo, Noel, and Harry of Beverly and
Clair of Cleveland; two daughters, Mrs Janet Clark of Bradington, and
Mrs Maxine Schwelkert of Beverly; 18 grandchildren and seven great
grandchildren and a sister, Mrs Ora Longley of Beverly. A daughter
Naurelle, and a brother and one sister are deceased. Services will be
held at McCurdy Funeral Home at Beverly at 2 p.m. Thursday. Rev John
Stilts and Rev Budd Sprague will officiate. Burial will be in
Beverly Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 2 to 5 and
7 to 9 p.m. today and Wednesday.

LOOGOOTEE -- Hazel L. (Gibson) Albaugh, 77, died Saturday, Jan. 10,
2004, at Daviess Community Hospital in Washington. She had owned
and operated at bed-and-breakfast in Loogootee. Surviving are three
daughters, Stephanie Jones, Pam Mundy and Alice Horsting; three sons,
Stephen, Tom and Nick; 13 grandchildren; and eight
great-grandchildren. Services 11 a.m. EST Tuesday at Brocksmith
Funeral Home, burial in Goodwill Cemetery. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m.
today.

James M. Longley
Masury man retired after 43 years at Sharon Steel
Funeral will be Wednesday for James M. Longley, 8249 Warren-Sharon
Road, Masury. He died at 6:50 p.m. Friday (4-6-01) in UPMC Horizon,
Farrell, after an extended illness. He was 83.
Mr. Longley was born July 29, 1917, in Marietta, Ohio, to Charles
and Orlinda Davis Longley.
He retired in 1979 after 43 years from the former Sharon Steel
Corp.'s Farrell plant, for which he served in the traffic department.
Mr. Longley belonged to First Presbyterian Church in Sharon; and was
a life member of Youngstown Traffic Club.
He enjoyed gardening and lawn care.
His wife, the former Helen E. Sebes, whom he married in 1938, died on
Nov. 28, 1993.
Surviving are: a son, James Longley of Sharon; a daughter, Marian
Komara of Seminole, Fla..; a brother, Charles Longley of Hartford;
three sisters, Doris Sabo of Brunswick, Maine; Edna Rado of Sharon;
and Anna Slifka of Masury; and two grandchildren, James F. Longley
Jr.; and Michael C. Longley.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Alma Begeot,
Orlinda Derr and Betty Mosora; and three brothers, Dudley, Frank and
Fred Longley.
