Akron Beacon Journal (OH) - October 2, 1985
Donald M. Hassler, 80, of Akron, died Oct. 1, 1985. Mr. Hassler was
born in Grove City, Pa., and had lived in the Akron area since 1929.
He retired from the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. in 1970 with 41 years
service. After retiring from Goodyear, he had worked for the Akron
Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Hassler was a member of Grace United Church
of Christ where he had served as president and treasurer. He was a
member of the Akron City Club, the Turkeyfoot Island Club, and
past- secretary of the Downtown Akron Kiwanis, a member on the Board
of Directors of Hope Homes, former president and Board member of
Goodwill, a volunteer for the American Red Cross, and a member of
Adoniram Lodge 517 F&AM. Mr. Hassler is survived by wife, Frances
E.; sons, Dr. Donald M. Hassler II of Kent, and John A. Hassler of
Nashville, Tenn.; sister, Miss Helen Hassler of Akron, and Mrs.
Miriam Weyrick of Akron; brother, David H. Hassler of Honolulu,
Hawaii; and six grandchildren. Calling hours 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday,
at the Dunn-Quigley-Ciriello & Carr Funeral Home, 39 S. Miller Rd.,
Fairlawn, where Masonic services will be held at 7 p.m. Funeral
services Friday, 10:30 a.m. at the Grace United Church of Christ,
172 W. Bowery St, Akron, Rev. Max C. Shultz and Dr. Roland G. Carter
officiating. Interment Rose Hill Burial Park. Memorials may be made

Times Recorder (Zanesville, OH) - January 23, 2003
ROSEVILLE -- Patricia C. Graves, 59, of 74 N. Main St., Roseville,
died at 2:35 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2003, at Grant Medical Center,
Columbus. She was born March 15, 1943, in Zanesville. Surviving
are her husband, William A. Graves of Roseville three daughters,
Billie Jo (Gerald) Harris of Crooksville, Lisa Miller and Teresa
(Victor) Mayle, both of Zanesville two brothers, Kevin Savage of
Zanesville and Lawrence (Shirley) Savage of Roseville three sisters,
Cheryl (Rex) McDonald and Mary Ruth (Fred) Wheeler, both of
Zanesville, and Janice (Robert) Hale of Cincinnati four grandchildren,
Chastidy Graves, Aaron Mayle, Brittany Harris and Kelsea Miller two
great-grandchildren, Alyssa Smith and Hailey Smith and several nieces
and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and
Mary Moulton Savage and a daughter, Maureen Graves. Calling hours
will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Cannon-Lanning
Funeral Home, 33 Main St., Roseville. Services will be held at 1 p.m.
Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Thomas Hayes officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Horeb Cemetery.
