Mrs. Lois Cannon, 52, wife of Homer Cannon of Crooksville, died early today at Bethesda hospital where she had been a patient for three weeks. A lifelong resident of Crooksville, she was a member of the Crooksville Methodist church and Starlight chapter, Order of Eastern Star. Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Max of Wharton, W. Va.' a brother, Sylvester Watts of Crooksville, a sister, Mrs. Walter Wharff of East Fultonham and a grandson. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternnon at the Crooksville Methodist church with Rev Roy Ballard officiating. Burial will be in the Crooksville cemetery. The body will be taken to the residence at noon Friday from the Fred L. Cannon funeral home in Crooksville.

Mrs Rosella Savage of Clay Township, near Roseville, died at 2:50 p.m. Sunday (Aug 28) at Good Samaritan Hospital where she was admitted Aug 10 following a heart attack at her home. She was 55. Mrs. Savage was the wife of Rolland (Banjo) Savage and played piano with the Savage orchestra. She was born Jun 16, 1911 in Roseville, daughter of Frank and Berta Sagle Williams. Mrs. Savage was formerly employed at the Brush Pottery. She was a member of the Ebenezer Methodist Church and Booster Grange. Surviving in addition to her husband are three daughters, Mrs. Lena Norris, Mrs. Kay Smith and Mrs. Clarra Dannison all of Roseville Route 2, a foster daughter, Mrs. Mary Finck of Maringo; two sons Donald of East Fultonham and Jim of Columbus; two brothers, Arthur Willams of Crooksville Route 1 and Ralph of Deavertown; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Rice of Roseville; and 16 grandchildren. A brother and sister preceeded her in death. The body is at the Roseville Cannon Funeral home where friends may call after 7 p.m. today.
