Robert Eugene Longley, 59, Springfield, Mo., formerly of Marshfield, Mo., passed away at 10:45 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22, 1999, in St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield, Mo. Mr. Longley was a corrections officer for the Ozarks Correctional Center, Fordland, and had served in the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; a daughter, Pam Steward, Marshfield; four sons, Randy Longley, Sioux City, Iowa, Kevin Longley, Ozark, Mo., Robert Longley, Bois D'Arc, and Clayton Longley, Springfield; four brothers, John Longley, Tulsa, Okla., George Longley, Strafford, Mo., Paul Longley, Sioux City, Iowa, and Rick Longley, Jefferson City, Mo.; two sisters, Donna Erickson, Sprinfield, Mo., and Pat Williams, Willard and four grandchildren. Memorial services for Mr. Longley will be at 6 p.m. today, Sept. 24, 1999, in Fraker Funeral Home, Marshfield, with the Rev. Melvin Williams officiating. His body has been cremated with burial at a later date in Marshfield Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. today in the funeral home. The family suggests memorial contributions to be made to the American Diabetes Association in Mr. Longley's memory.
