Funeral services for John C. Dwyer, 86, formerly of Cambridge, were held Dec. 6 in Whittier, Calif. he died Dec. 2 in the home of Emory of Whittier. He was born Oct. 27, 1894, in Cambridge to George and China Baldwin Dwyer. He married Tilda Tinsley Dec. 19, 1906 in Winfield. They lived in and around Cambridge until moving to Lynwood, Calif., where they lived until Dwyer became seriously ill. They then went to live with their son Emory. He is survived by his wife who will continue to make her home with their son and family at 16109 Lasburn, Whittier, Calif., 90603; his daughter, Viola Knowles of Winfield; two sons Emory of Whittier, Harold of La Puente, Calif.; three brothers, Archie, and Ed of Cambridge, Otis of Corpus Christi, Tex.; 12 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
