Wallace M McCloud was born 3-22-17 in Cambria, OK to John and Mary E. Patterson McCloud. He graduated from McAlester High School in 1934 and moved to Oklahoma City the same year. He married Rosalie Overbey in 1941. She preceded him in death in 1995. He served in the US Air Force European Theatre from 1941 (to) 1945. He retired from the US Postal Service as Director of Mail Processing in 1972 after 25 years of service. After retirement he lived on Lake Eufaula for 17 years, returning to Oklahoma City in 1996. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and NARFE. He was preceded in death by his mother and father; brothers John Jr. and Harold A. McCloud and sister Mary E. (McCloud) Cantrell. He is survived by his wife, Juanita; brothers Jess R. of Moore and Joe P. McCloud of Oklahoma City; sister-in-law Jeanette McCloud of New Orleans, LA; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 27, 2000 at 2:00 P.M. at Guardian West Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery.

Wilson Eldridge "Bud" Campbell, 53, of 385 McPeak Lane, Meadows of Dan, died Wednesday, June 9, 2004, at his home. He was born Oct. 22, 1950, in Martinsville, a son of Cassie K. McPeak of Meadows of Dan and Herbert Jackson Campbell. He was preceded in death by his father. In addition to his mother, surviving are one sister, Pamela Jordon of Tyler, Texas; and two brothers, Wayne Melton Campbell of Eden, N.C., and Randy Campbell of Arlington, Texas. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the home on McPeak Lane. The Revs. Alan Terry and Alfred Hylton will officiate. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends after the service. Howell Funeral Home in Stuart is in charge of arrangements.
