RITES SET FOR INDIAN TRADER
Two Services To Be Held for John Savage on Two Days
Two funeral services will be held for John J. Savage, Sells Indian trader, who died Thursday night at his home on the Papago reservation. One service will be held at the home at 10 o'clock this morning and another at the Reilly chapel Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Mr. Savage, who was 54 years old, had lived on the reservation and run a trading post for 14 years and was so loved by the Indians that they pleaded for services for him at home. His death came after an illness of two years. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Betrice Lillian Savage, and three children. Pallbearers at the Tucson funeral at which Rev. O. J. Rainey will officiate, will be T. T. Smith, Johnny Rhodes, Lewis Ross, Archie Richardson, Ted Schnell and John C. Pheobus.
