Mrs Louie Hines Dies at Somerset
Mrs. Louie Ellen Watts Hines, 76, of Saltillo, died early this morning at the Arnold Rest home in Somerset, following a lingering illness. She had been a patient there for the past two months. She was a lifelong resident of the Saltillo community and was a member of the Methodist church there. Surviving are two sons, Fred Watts of Saltillo, Pearl Watts of Dover and two daughters, Mrs. Laura Tipton of Crooksville and Mrs. Lenora Wahl of Roseville. The body will be taken from the Cannon and Cannon funeral home in Crooksville to the home of the son, Fred, this evening. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Saltillo Methodist church with Rev. Joseph O'Rielly of McCluney, officiation. Burial will be in Mt. Horeb cemetery near Crooksville.

Rites for Mrs. Cam Longley, 91, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Doran Chapel with burial in Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of the Doran Funeral Home. Mrs. Longley died Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. in her home, 113 Hudson Drive. Mrs. Longley was born in Bee County in 1884. Her husband, Cam Longley, died approximately 15 years ago. the Longleys resided in Ozona for many years; Mrs. Longley had made her home in Del Rio more than 30 years. Survivors include her three sons, Cole Longley of Del Rio; Col. (ret) Cam Longley Jr. of Brigham City, Utah; and Glenn Longley of Lake Buchannan; two daughters, Mrs. Gretchen Word and Mrs. W. Calvert Curry, both of Del Rio; eight grandchildren and 18 great-granchildren.
