Oliver Anderson, M'Connelsville Died on Sunday
McConnelsville, O. May 19 -- Oliver Anderson, aged 63 years a well
known citizen of McConnelsvile died Sunday evening at 5:30 at his
home following a week's illness caused from a severe hit on the head
he received sometime ago. He was born and reared near Mt. Zion and of
late years was an employe of the Brown Manly Plow Co., Malta. He is
survived by his wife and three children - Arthur Anderson of
McConnelsville; Mrs. J. B. Hill of Bristol, and William Anderson of
Zanesville. He is also survived by three brothers, Webster Anderson,
groceryman of McConnelsvile; James Anderson of McConnelsville, and
John Anderson of Bristol; one sister, Mrs. Mary West of Zanesville.
Services will be held at 10 o'clock at the home Tuesday morning
conducted by Rev. James Fish and services and burial will be made at
Mt. Zion.

James Anderson Called by Death in Morgan Co.
McConnelsville, O. Jan. 7 -- James Anderson died at the Morgan
county home hospital at noon Friday from complications. He is
survived by four brothers, John and Webster, of Bristol township,
Rufus of Zanesville, and Henry of Portersville, and two sisters,
Mrs. Mary Kline of Zanesville and Mrs. Alice Ogg of Crooksville.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at
the Mt. Zion M. E. church and interment will be made in the church
cemetery. The body is resting at the Miller undertaking parlors.

Henry Anderson Dies
Henry Anderson, 78, was found dead in bed Thursday morning at the
home of his daughter, Mrs. Gertie Donahey, with whom he resided in
the Portersville neighborhood. He had been in poor health for some
time. Mr. Anderson was a native of Bristol township but had resided
near Portersville for many years. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs.
Donahey, and Mrs. Ida Dearinger, both of near Portersville, and one
son, Charles Anderson, of New Lexington.

Former Resident Dies in Athens County
Rufus Anderson, 70, of Athens county, formerly of this city, died
Wednesday afternoon following an illness of five years. Surviving
are his widow, Ora; a son, Carl Anderson Carl Anderson of Athens;
two brothers, Webster and John Anderson, both of McConnelsville; and
a sister, Mrs. Alice Ogg of Crooksville. Funeral services will be
held Saturday afternoon at a funeral home in Glouster with Rev. Leroy
Hiett officiating. Burial will be in Beach Grove cemetery, Glouster.

John Anderson is Summoned
McConnelsville, O. -- John Anderson, 79, farmer, died at his home in
Bristol township, Morgan county, Monday morning, following a brief
illness from heart trouble. He was the son of the late James and
Margaret Anderson, was a member of Zion Methodist church and of
Bristol grange. Surviving are his widow, Ida Easlick Anderson; two
daughters, Mrs. Jessie Franders, of Bristol township and Mrs. Mary
Scott of Zanesville; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren;
one brother, Webster Anderson, of Bristol township and a sister, Mrs.
Alice Ogg, of Crooksville, Rt. Funeral services will be held at Mt.
Carmel Methodist church, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with Rev.
Stevens of New Concord officiating. Burial will be in the Zion
church cemetery. The body is resting at the Miller funeral home and
will be removed to the home Wednesday morning.

Mrs. Alice Ogg, 78 Is Summoned
Mrs. Alice Anderson Ogg, 78 of near Crooksville, died last evening
at the home of a relative, P. A. Pace of near Roseville, following
a brief illness. She was stricken last Thursday with a cerebral
hemorrhage. Mrs. Ogg was a member of the Ebenezer church near
Roseville. She is survived by a son, Charles W. of the home; three
daughters, Mrs. F. W. Roberts of Newark; Mrs. Cecil Brumage of near
Roseville, and Miss Ella Ogg of Roseville; a brother, Webster
Anderson, 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Friends
may call at the Cannon and Cannon funeral home at Crooksville until
Tuesday morning when the body will be removed to the P. A. Pace
residence near Roseville. Funeral services will be conducted at 2
o'clock Wednesday afternoon from the Black Oak U. B. church with
Rev. Orville Gibbs of Neward, officiating. Burial will be in the
church cemetery.

Morgan Co. Man Taken By Death
McConnelsville, O., -- Webster Anderson, 79, retired grocer and
farmer, died at his home in Bristol township, Morgan county, Thursday
afternoon at 1:35 o'clock following a three weeks' illness. Mr.
Anderson was born October 4, 1870 in Bristol township and was the
son of James and Margaret Ann Anderson. He was a member of the Mt.
Zion Methodist church. Surviving are his widow, Rachel Scott
Anderson, a son, Elmer Anderson of McConnelsville; two grandchildren
and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the
Miller funeral home, Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. W.
Hilton Petry officiating. Burial will be in Bristol cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home in the afternoon today.
